TabTrade - Is It Worth Opening an Account

The Broker - What It Is

Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is solid.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Having both is useful. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders prefer it after using both.

FIX API is available for bots but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be in the works. That will be a good addition once it is live.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

The execution is the area where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.

Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. The point is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.

Pair that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

This is the part that requires honesty. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not guarantee anything. It should be part of how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works is your call.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.

The complete breakdown, with regulation, withdrawals, pricing, more infohere and the bonus terms, is at TradeTheDay.
